The first time someone sees it happen, they usually say the same thing: "That's like Harry Potter." A photo, sitting on a shelf, that plays a moving moment when you point your phone at it.
Here's exactly how it works, because we know "magic" isn't a satisfying answer.
The short version
Every TimeFrame keepsake carries a small, discreet QR code printed in the corner. Scan it with your phone camera, follow the link, and your chosen video plays on the screen, right there in front of the photo. It takes a few seconds the first time, and even less every time after.
What goes in
You give us two things when you order:
- One photo, which we print in high definition onto the keepsake itself: acrylic, crystal glass or canvas
- One video, 20 to 30 seconds of the moment you want to keep: first steps, wedding speech, birthday song, the dog doing the thing
We check both before production. If the photo won't print well or the video won't play smoothly, we contact you before making anything.
Common questions, quickly
Does the video expire? No. Your code stays linked to your video.
Can anyone scan it? Anyone you hand the keepsake to, yes. That's rather the point: grandparents, visitors, the recipient on a bad day.
What if I'm useless with technology? If you can point a camera, you're qualified. Scan, tap, watch.
Why it matters
A printed photo shows how someone looked. Video holds how they sounded, how they moved, how they laughed. A living photo gives you both: a beautiful object for the shelf, with the actual moment kept safe inside it.
